Today, Arctic Group and ID North, both leading specialists in identity and access management, announce their intention to join forces. Both companies are part of the European cybersecurity group Allurity, and the combination marks an important step towards establishing a stronger identity security partner in the Nordics, with the capabilities that organisations need to stay safe and in control.
As organisations digitise everything from workflows to critical services, identities have become the primary control point for securing access, protecting data and maintaining operational resilience. Rapid developments in AI, combined with increasing regulatory demands, are making identity security a business-critical priority for both public and private sector organisations.
By bringing their strengths together, Arctic Group and ID North create a stronger offering with greater capability, deeper expertise and scalability. This strengthens their ability to support customers in managing complexity, maintaining control and meeting future demands in cybersecurity.
Arctic Group and ID North intend to operate under a new, shared brand, with the ambition to take a leading position within identity security in the Nordics.
Together, the combined offering will provide customers with:
“Identity is today one of the most business-critical areas within cybersecurity, not least as digital complexity increases and AI develops at pace. By combining our strengths, we strengthen our ability to meet our customers’ needs in an increasingly changing environment,” says Fredrik Åström, CEO of Arctic Group.
“This is a step where we are truly building for the future. By bringing our expertise together, we create new opportunities to develop our offering, grow together and meet the increasing demands within identity security,” says Henrik Brinkhagen, CEO of ID North.
The merger is subject to customary processes, including employee and union negotiations, as well as required approvals.
